Since 2019, First Book and Discover Financial Services have partnered to enhance educational opportunities for students in need across the Greater Phoenix, AZ area. This collaboration has been instrumental in distributing over 17,000 books to the Phoenix community, significantly enriching the lives of young readers through a variety of activities, including Reading Celebrations, educator grants, Book Wishes, and Backpack Builds. Discover Financial Services has a strong commitment to community engagement, and actively involves its employees in these efforts. Together, we explore ways to integrate employee volunteers in local classrooms, creating interactive and inspiring experiences for students. Discover and First Book aims to foster a deeper connection between volunteers and the local students they support, ensuring their contributions are both engaging and impactful.
