First Book and partners are sponsoring a virtual event to support the mission of eliminating barriers to educational equity.
First Book would like to thank our partners, Topgolf, and WGT by Topgolf, for their support in launching the First Book Open to help eliminate barriers, inspire young minds, and change lives. First Book believes that efforts like this can provide much needed support to reach 100% of Title I and Title I eligible schools and programs serving kids in need, and ultimately close the resource gap in low-income communities.
The virtual tournament on the legendary Congressional Golf Course is live for a month of purposeful play and fun!
A New Way to Play
This year, we introduce Closest to the Hole – a fantastic way to enjoy a shorter round of golf. Whether a seasoned player or new to virtual golf, every player’s participation makes a difference.
How to Donate
Donations will be matched up to $5,000 from now until the tournament concludes on August 31st. Donations can be made to support educators who, like First Book, are committed to the kids they serve.
