First Book Canada is a national social enterprise and registered charity working to advance educational equity for children living in low-income and historically excluded communities across Canada. We support the educators, librarians, community leaders, and care providers who are creating opportunities for children every day by providing access to brand-new books, educational resources, and evidence-informed programming. By bringing together the nonprofit, public, and private sectors, we turn collective investment into meaningful impact, helping more children develop the literacy, confidence, and sense of belonging they need to thrive.
